BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING
The board of directors’ meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 28th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM (check Meeting webpage for details on how to join). All Midwest SETAC members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

MEETING REGISTRATION

The meeting registration fee includes meeting attendance and the Thursday morning short course (Th and Fri) via the Webex platform. 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts are due March 15, 2021 at 11:59 PM Central Time.  Please see the webpage for the abstract submission link.

Note: Registration does not include annual chapter membership dues. Membership can be purchased during the registration process but is not required. Cost for membership is $25 for regular members, and $10 for students. Visit the Midwest SETAC Membership webpage for more information.

ANNUAL MEETING OVERVIEW
The program consists of technical presentations and posters, a short‐course, and social activities:

Platform presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes with 5 additional minutes for questions and discussion.
Poster presentations are scheduled during the evening Poster Social on Thursday, April 29th

Abstract Guidelines:
     Indicate whether you are an NLSOT or MWSETAC member
     Character limits are 250 for the title and 2,500 for the abstract (including spaces).
     Presenters should indicate their preference for type of presentation (platform or poster).
     Students should indicate their desire to be included in the best student presentation competition on their abstract                            submission. Please visit our Student Awards webpage for more information & eligibility requirements.

Notices of abstract acceptance will be sent via e‐mail by March 29, 2021. Please note that pending abstract acceptance, the submission of an abstract implies a commitment for the presenting author to register, attend, and present at the 2021 Midwest SETAC/Northland SOT Joint Meeting.

Merging Science for Emerging Environmental Threats


The meeting agenda is now available: 




We are pleased to announce a joint meeting between the Midwest Chapter of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (MWSETAC) and the Northland Chapter of the Society of Toxicology (NLSOT). Submit your platform and poster session papers for presentation at the meeting!

Presentations are welcome in all areas of science relevant to Midwest SETAC and Northland SOT (see below), and we especially encourage those that speak to the overall meeting theme: Merging science for emerging environmental threats.

Presentations may include those from previous national conferences. Membership in the society is not required to attend or present.

There will be a $1,000 award for both the best student platform and the best student poster, to be used for travel to the SETAC North America 2021 meeting.

Plan to attend the short course by Dr. Andrea Hicks, University of Wisconsin-Madison:  Life Cycle Assessment, April 29th.
